ROS FLANDERS

Ros is an artist and art teacher. She studied Ceramics at Edinburgh College of Art and has taught children in state and private schools, from 4 to 19 years old.

​

In recent years she has explored the joys of texture, colour and pattern, creating abstract and semi-abstract pieces in mixed media.

​

Her work always begins with a layer of experimental marks made from a wide collection of materials and mark-making tools. She continues to build up layers, responding to the emerging surfaces until the composition is rich in colour and texture.
