Virginia Ray is a contemporary, mixed media landscape painter. ​

 

Born and raised in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire, Virginia's family has lived and worked in the area for generations, a heritage which has deeply influenced her art.​

 

Virginia has worked as a tutor at The Watts Gallery, Surrey, in prisons and with disadvantaged young adults.

 

Currently living and working in her studio in Surrey, Virginia draws inspiration from frequent trips to her native Yorkshire and travelling home and abroad.​

 

Virginia is a MA graduate of UCA Farnham.
